Akufo-Addo joins justice calls; condemns lynching of 90-year-old woman

President Akufo-Addo joins the justice calls as he has reacted to the gruesome murder of a 90-year-old woman accused of witchcraft by a traditional priest at Kafaba.

Madam Akua Denteh was lynched in broad daylight at Kafaba in the East Gonja Municipality of the Savannah Region. She was allegedly accused of witchcraft by a local fetish priestess.

The President in an address to the matter described the act as cruel and unfortunate. He urged security personnel to ensure quick delivery of justice on the matter.

Akufo-Addo made this known during the commissioning of a five million cedi water project at Yapei in the Central Gonja District of the Savannah Region.

The gruesome murder of a 90-year-old woman, Madam Akua Denteh by a traditional priest at Kafaba has attracted a strong call for justice all over social media.
