Ghanaian television and radio broadcast journalist, women’s rights activist and actress Akumaa Mama Zimbi, also known professionally as Dr Joyce Akumaa Dongotey-Padi in a video on Tiktok removed her scarf for the first time on social media.
Akumaa Mama Zimbi who is easily identified by her mountainous head scarfs and fascinating, yet sexually stimulating, ways of expressing “Medaase” sent social media into a frenzy after sharing a video without her huge scarf.

It is probably the first time people are seeing her in such a state. After the video was posted, many who have sighted her receding hairline have attributed it to the constant wearing of the scarf.
A good number with divergent viewpoints have also explained that she might be dealing with a rare medical condition known as alopecia.
