Amerado on the United Showbiz show on UTV tried to school rapper Lyrical Joe.
According to him, Lyrical Joe failed at his wordplay game when he rapped about Rolex watch, time, and the future.
In the heat of the lyrical brawl between the two rappers, Amerado intimated he paid rapt attention to one of Lyrical Joe’s lines on Rolex watch and felt he could have composed it better.
Speaking to host Nana Ama Mcbrown on UTV, he said Lyrical Joe did not have to talk about the future when he was about to acquire a Rolex watch—that could be seen as a wack line.
Lyrical Joe had rapped: “I own a rolex in the future so why buy a watch now when I’m ahead of my time”
In Amerado’s lecture, he stated that “I ain’t got Rolex time because I ain’t got time to roll with my ex” should have been the line.
Well, Lyrical Joe was not on the show for the lecture, but he has replied. According to him, Amerado did not have the lyrical dexterity to decode his line on Rolex.
He added that it was a time travel bar which he dropped, and he was not surprised that Amerdo could not grasp the wordplay.
“Oh, @utvghana I know it’s not easy for him to catch it but it’s a time travel bar I dropped. And What he did was rhyme Rolex with role with my – ex and that’s wordplay.“
Many believe Amerado exposed his ignorance of the rap bar that Lyrical Joe dropped, which he was seeking to discount.
