The National Sports Authority(NSA) has told the Ghana Football Association that the Blackstars playoff against Nigeria cannot be played at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium adding that they should look for another alternative.
The Blackstars would face off Nigeria in the Worldcup playoff in March but the NSA in a letter to the FA has stated that the Cape Coast which has been hosting Blackstars matches in recent times won’t be available for use.
According to the letter, the 2022 Independence Day parade would be held at the stadium therefore they would be closing down the stadium for all sporting activities for work to be done there.
The letter stated that the Baba Yara and the Accra Sports stadium are however available to be used for that crucial game.
