An enraged consumer used an unusual method to express his dissatisfaction with unauthorised account deductions.
The male customer whose identity remains unknown arrived at a bank with a rope and threatened to commit suicide, claiming that the bank had transferred his funds to hackers who had hacked his account.
According to a source, the man had earlier reported to the bank that he has been debited an amount of N450,000.
It continued that the bank asked him to provide a court order stating that he had no business doing or whatsoever with the recipient.
He allegedly obtained the court order only to discover that the transaction had been facilitated in favour of the alleged hacker by bank staff.
