Ghanaian kumawood actress, Gloria Sarfo has advised women particularly those in the entertainment industry to work harder to gain greater heights than their male colleagues in the industry.
According to the actress, due to gross discrimination against women in the industry, most of them lack the confidence to nurture their talents.

“I am thinking we are in 2019, we the women should not allow men to override us.
We are in 2019 and this time around I think we women should not sit back we shouldn’t be lazy we should get up and do something.
We shouldn’t think for the public that, we won’t receive the necessary support when we make the move”, she stated.

The actress also added that due to the huge gap between men and women especially in the entertainment industry, it is not easy for a woman to rise to the top.
She stated that it is seen as something strange if a woman fights all the odds and makes it to the top.
