Facebook is down and here’s why

Unfortunately for Facebook users, it appears as though the hugely popular social media site is currently experiencing problems.

Facebook is currently down with over 200,000 users reporting issues, but it’s rare for the site to have widespread outages.

On March 5, Facebook stopped working for many users, with no official updates from Meta on when services will be restored.
