Social media users have heaved hot coals on the head of self-acclaimed millionaires Tracey Boakye and Diamond Appiah for turning the one-week observation of their bereaved friend, Afia Schwarzenneger into a party.
Afia Schwarzenneger lost her father, Mr Augustine Adjei, to the cold hands of death on January 17, 2022, after a long battle with cancer.
And in line with traditional customs, the bereaved family set aside Wednesday, January 26, 2022, to hold his one-week ceremony at his residence in Achimota.
As expected, Tracey Boakye and Diamond graced the event to commiserate with their best friend, Afia Schwar.
They brought their self-acclaimed high profile status to play as they arrived at the venue in their 4×4 SUV cars with bodyguards.
However, what was supposed to be a mournful and solemn affair soon turned into showmanship and merrymaking as Tracey Boakye hit the dancefloor spraying dollars on Afia and ended up becoming the centre of attention.
Infuriated social media users have however slammed Tracey Boakye and Diamond for ignoring their environment to show off their wealth.
While many blamed Afia Schwar’s association with the “uncouth” duo for what they described as an unacceptable showcase, others intimated that they would have personally thrown out Tracey and Diamond from the funeral grounds if it was their event.
