Veteran Ghanaian actress, Grace Omaboe, popularly known as Maame Dokono has stated that her first marriage collapsed because of the celebrity status she carried at that time.
According to her, in the prime of her acting career, the name and fame got into her head making her raise her shoulders because she felt like a big woman at that time though she was young revealing that she has really regretted her actions and the fact that she could not try her possible best to keep it safe.

“I was Maame Dokono by then. I made myself like a big woman and the family of my first husband did not like it. It was a family issue and I left. However, I’ve regretted leaving my first husband.”
“My second husband showered me with a lot of goodies and money but in real life, he had a terrible attitude.” – She further disclosed.
She, however, advised the female celebrities to settle down with good men even if they ain’t rich instead of the opposite.
