Reports Ghpage.com is picking up has it that, High-Life Musician Randy Nunoo has been arrested by the Accra Central Police for fraud.
According to a source who spoke with Ghpage.com, Randy Nunoo was arrested for duping a client of Ghana Music Rights Organisation (GHAMRO), to the tune of GHS3,000.
Explaining how he duped GHAMRO client, the source revealed that Randy Nunoo who is a former executive member of GHAMRO has allegedly been using the organization’s name to extort money from the GHAMRO’s clients in the name of Royalties.

According to the reports, Randy Nunoo recently used GHAMRO’s name to unlawfully extort an amount of GHS3000 from the Management of Style of Food Inn.
Randy Nunoo was appointed as a licensing officer by Kojo Antwi when he became the chairman of the Ghana Music Rights Organisation (GHAMRO) but Randy abrogated his contract with GHAMRO in 2016.
He later together with Akosua Adjapong and John Mensah Sarpong contested the chairmanship position of the organization but failed.

They, however, formed the United Concerned Members of GHAMRO, a pressure group which is currently agitating against the leadership of GHAMRO lead by Rex Omar.
Upon a tip of that Randy Nunoo is using the name of the organization to dupe their clients, they alerted the Police leading to the arrest of the High-Life artist.
Randy was initially invited to the Central Police Station in Accra for questioning but has been detained on fraudulent charges.
