A Nigerian footballer who based in Azerbaijan was accused of refuting his age in the game but has angrily come out to affirm and insist on his stands that he is not older than the age he claims to be.

Recently, in a few days ago, all the media fraternity in Azerbaijan was highly excited with the headlines about the Nigerian footballer, Victor Emenayo, who played for the top league side, Shahdagh Qusar FK and claims to be 23-years-old with a passport affirmation but looks far older than the age he carries.
Mr. Emenayo who was playing for a Uganda side SC Villa for some seasons, before moving to the Azerbaijan, was accused of refuting his age with some journalists saying he is 40-years-old.
However, the striker has now come out to fend for himself by saying he is really 23 and has posted a photo of his international passport as an evidence to affirm is his claims.
The professional footballer given out his response to the allegations that he must have forged his passport said, he didn’t lie about his age and that he was truly born in 1993 as it is indicated in his passport.
“How can anybody claim or ascertain that I am not 23-years-old merely by my looks? My passport says I was born in 1993 and no one can dispute that. Are they my parents to say I was not born in the year on my passport?” he questioned.
Well, the truth is that it is not yet known if Mr. Victor Emenayo would file a case through legal means against those people who claimed he is much older than the age he carries in his passport.
