Veteran gospel musician Amy Amber Newman has for the first time disclosed how she met her lovely husband, Rev. Kwesi Newman whom she has been married for over 40 years.
According to the singer, she met her husband in a nightclub and got married at the age of 18. She made this revelation in an interview on TV XYZ.
Amy Newman disclosed that in her youthful days she loved dancing and liked clubbing and as such she was always frequenting the club to have fun.
She adds that her brother owned a nightclub somewhere in Takoradi and she was always there to party and enjoy life to the fullest.
In an interview on TV XYZ, the Gospel Minister detailed that her husband who was in love with her told her directly he wanted to marry her.
“I will take the whole dancing floor when we get to the club. Dancing is part of my talent. So it was there where my husband spotted me, he was also in the club.
He saw me there but didn’t approach me. A week later he came to my house with his friend. So basically that is where it started. Amy Newman revealed in an interview on TV XYZ.
