“I’ll still twerk, the Quran isn’t against it” – Akuapem Poloo reveals

Controversial Akuapem Poloo has assured her fans on the internet that she’ll twerk for them because Quran is not against it.

Speaking in an exclusive interview on KOFI TV, the Ghanaian actress categorically stated that she wouldn’t stop twerking because there’s no verse in the Quran that forbids the sexually explicit dance.

The new Islam convert made this declaration after she was quizzed if she’ll stop twerking now that she has converted to Islam.

In response, she said if I have a shop that I am running or go on set constantly, do you think I will come on social media to twerk on it and the person will give me GH5000. Someone will sit at home and insult me for doing something that gets me paid,

Everybody is twerking, musicians twerk, Wendy Shay twerks when she is performing. Is twerking a sin? Where in the Quran or the bible have they said the twerking is a sin?

Continuing with the many reasons that will make her to still twerk and gather attention on the internet, she said;

Have you gone to Muslim gathering before like awurey before? So no one should criticize me, twerking is not a sin, I am no more going to expose myself but don’t criticise if I am dancing because it’s not nude,”

Meanwhile, Islam religion is very strict on dress code hence it’ll be very difficult for Akuapem Poloo to expose herself on the internet herself unlike how she did before.
