Bishop Kwabena Boakye Asiamah, popularly known as Bishop Ajagurajah, has disclosed his desire to marry multiple wives despite his Christian teachings of the Bible which forbids polygamy.
Although marrying multiple spouses is a common practice in other religions, it’s against the teachings of Christianity which only propagates monogamy (marriage to one partner).
But during a recent interview on Kantanka TV, Bishop Ajagurajah said he subscribes to having multiple spouses and that he would marry ten women at a time he’s in the capacity to do so.
“I am polygamous, I am extra polygamous,” he stressed. “Although it’s yet to happen, I would love to marry about 10 women”

This remark from Ajagurajah follows similar comments he made in the studios of Accra-based Hitz FM.
While speaking to Andy Dosty, he told the host: “God is a polygamous God. My father is married to 30 women. He is alive and kicking and I also want to be polygamous because I believe in polygamy.”
