The parade for the 63rd Independence Day celebration is currently underway at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
The celebration has the Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago Keith Christopher Rowley as the special guest of honor.
It is unclear whether the National Democratic Congress (NDC) deliberately boycotted the event because few of the minority cabal has been spotted at the event grounds.
In a photo sighted by Ghpage.com, shows a seat tagged for the two former presidents are lying empty.
