The University of Leicester has sorrowfully presented the Master’s Degree earned by the late Major Maxwell Mahama to his mother following his shocking death.
The late major was pursuing the degree and was on the verge of completion when he was lynched by mobs in Denkyira-Obuasi.

Mahama, who was a captain at his death, was posthumously promoted to major by the President, and he has now been presented with the Master’s degree as well.
