Ace broadcaster KKD real name King Kwasi Kyei Darkwah who has recently won the public hearts after coming out to speak about the happenings in the country has revealed that his father has fears for him.
The broadcaster who is exposing some deals of the government in power, especially the Finance Minister disclosed that his father has expressed his fears to him but has urged him not to keep quiet.
“They will kill you, thieves and corrupt people hate those who speak the truth”, KKD said as he quoted his father.
“He is afraid they will kill me but encouraged me to go ahead”, he added.
In the past few weeks, KKD has criticized Ken Ofori Atta, the finance minister of Ghana, his Databank, and other government officials for allegedly engaging in corruption.
The broadcaster expressed amazement at the government’s continued use of a firm that the Finance Minister co-founded as advisors for some of Ghana’s international loan deals.
Additionally, according to KKD, it might be the cause of the nation’s ongoing borrowing, which must end.
On Wednesday, August 17, KKD attacked Parliament for being silent about such a matter when appearing on GTV’s Breakfast Show.
“I read a report yesterday that broke my heart. I saw how much Ghana owes but I also found that apparently, the minister of finance’s company or former company is the transaction advisor to the monies we borrow. So, as Ghana gets poorer, the minister of finance’s company or former company gets richer”.
