On Saturday 14th April 2018, the annual Vodafone Ghana Music Awards was held at the Conference Center in Accra and Berla Mundi was the lead MC at the prestigious awards night and Ghanaian actor, John Dumelo was the supporting MC. But the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Slip Music, Mark Okraku Mantey has a problem with that.
In a chat with Naa Ashorkor on Joy FM’s Showbiz A-Z, Mark Okraku Mantey stated that Berla Mundi was not the right choice for the role as the lead MC for this year’s VGMA based on the impressive track record of the award scheme.

Mark Okraku Mantey said:
“per the standards and track record of the Ghana Music Awards that I know, Berla Mundi should not have been the lead MC but a support.”

But Celebrated Ghanaian journalist, Nana Aba Anamoah, has taken a swipe at Mark Okraku Mantey, the over his latest comments.
According to Nana Aba Anamoah, Mark Okraku acts like he knows it all and he seems to take delight in dulling the sparkle of others.
