Information Ghpage has picked up this morning confirms the arrest of Nhyiaeso MP on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party, Dr Stephen Amoah.
Dr Stephen was arrested together with some 6 others will be arraigned today over road traffic offences.
They were arrested for the offences of careless, dangerous driving and causing road obstruction among others, a police report said.
They were arrested on Tuesday when police mounted operation around Airport By-pass to check V8 drivers disregarding road traffic regulations.
Those who were arrested were;
1. Driver in charge Toyota land cruiser v8 with registration number Gn 5532 – 17, Mr Jospeh Brown
- Driver incharge toyota land cruiser with registration number Gt 7059 – 20, Nhyiaeso MP, Hon Dr. Stephen Amoah
- Driver incharge toyota 4 runner with registration number Ge 303 – 20, Mr Samuel A. Anim
- Driver incharge toyota land cruiser with registration number Ge 1611 – 17, Emmanuel Kofi Ofori
- Driver incharge toyota highlander 4×4 suv with registration number Ge 14 – 21, Mr. Dimini Atuahene
- Driver incharge toyota land cruiser with registration number Gn 3516 – 18, Mr. Daniel Boateng
- Driver incharge toyota land cruiser with registration number Gt 856 – 20, Thomas Atinga
A statement issued by the police on Wednesday following the development said:” The police are very determined to enforce the laws of the country. We call on all to support us in this endeavour.”
