5 Armed robbers who have been identified as Nigerians on Sunday, 8th May 2019 raped a woman right in front of her husband when they could not get the money they expected to get from the robbery.
The suspects Ako Anthony, 36; Kelvin Damas, 23; Obas Godsay, 16; Donald Pande, 24; and 16-year-old Olufu Rhema stormed the couple’s home on Sunday dawn and demanded money from their Mobile Money business.

But according to Prampram Divisional Police Command, Chief Superintendent Cecilia Arko, the armed robbers got the wrong house. The house they assumed the mobile money vendor had entered during their trail was the wrong house they entered for the operation.
They went to the couple’s house with guns and knives around 3:00 am. Realizing their mistake, they decided to settle their pleasures on the married woman. As one person rapes the woman the rest filmed the rape.

They did all that in front of the husband. The armed robbers then bolted with phones and money they could seize from the couple.
On 13th June 2019, the couple spotted one of the boys who attacked them walking in their neighborhood. They raised alarm and with the help of bystanders apprehended him.

“He was handed over to the police. Upon interrogation, he confessed to the crimes and mentioned the 4 other suspects which led to their arrest”, Chief Superintendent Cecilia Arko revealed
