Yaya Kwanjit who is an old blind widow from the Northern part of Ghana has revealed that her biggest wish on earth before she finally says goodbye is to sleep on a mattress.
A team of journalists from multimedia went to a village in Northern Ghana to shot a documentary on the level of poverty titled ‘Face of Poverty’.
In the documentary, one of the people that featured was this old woman who has been living in abject poverty all her life.

Telling a story of how she got blind, she stated that she got blind after giving birth to her second child.
As typical of various old people, this old lady doesn’t know her age but added that poverty has made her older than her actual age.

In the interview, she made it known that aside from her need for a mattress she also needs help so she can renew her health insurance card that has been expired for some years now.
