More details surrounding the embattled 23-year-old Level 100 student of the University of Ghana who allegedly stabbed her Ghanaian lover from Canada, Frank Kofi Osei, to death have emerged.
According to the police, Safinatu Mohammed Adizatu was assisted by one Michael Fiifi Ampofo Arku a Technical Officer, in committing the crime at her residence at Ashaley Botwe School Junction.
The victim was stabbed multiple times in the chin, jaw, back and strangled to death after he visited Safina and decided to spend the night.
After accessing the murder scene, the police argued there may be other people involved in the murder as Safina and her accomplice could not have killed the victim alone, citing the deceased’s body build.
Police investigations also revealed that Frank struggled with his killers so they had to tie his hands with a dog chain before they could overpower and kill him.
In a new twist to the story, the name of a popular Ghanaian preacher (name withheld) has popped up in the case.
Contrary to initial reports that Frank rented the apartment for Safina, it has emerged that a popular Ghanaian pastor was also allegedly dating the suspect and he rented the apartment for her.
According to Ama Brako Ampofo, a journalist and court correspondent, the pastor sent men to Safina’s house where they found Frank there on that night. What happened in the house afterwards is yet to be unravelled as the case progresses.
Meanwhile, the man of God and his men are yet to be arrested.

Multiple reports say Frank had been cheating on his wife with the supposed socialite, for a while now.
Although the wife had tried several times to talk him into moving away from mingling with the flashy girls she saw on the internet, the man remained adamant.
Reports claim Frank “went out with his family on Friday and put them in an Uber to go home and went to his side piece”. When he visited Safina, one thing led to the other and the lady ended up stabbing him to death.
In the court, the prosecutor vividly detailed what the police has so far gathered during its preliminary investigations into the case.
