Kumkum Bagya is arguably the most watch and longest running series running on a Ghanaian television, Adom Tv to be specific.
However, many Ghanaians especially filmmakers have spoken strongly against Adom TV’s Indian telenovela Kumkum Bagya which has been showing for years now.
Many have blamed it as one of the major reasons why the local movie industry is dying hence their plea to the government to stop TV stations from airing such products.

But the audience is fed and come to appreciate or live with what they see every day.Kumkum Bagya today has become sort of a ‘culture now’.
With the love Ghanaians have for the Indian series, it comes as a surprise to see our Second Lady, Samira Bawumia meeting one of the stars of the show, Shivani Sopori, who plays the role of Pammi in the series.
