Investigators from the Ghana Police Service are looking into an incident in which a pride of lions killed and dismembered an unidentified middle-aged man.
On Sunday, August 28, 2022, the intruder, whose motivation has not yet been determined, is said to have wandered into the lions’ enclosure before his unfortunate demise.
Some people think that when he was brutally assaulted, he entered the lion’s cave in an effort to steal the cub.
The deceased man was killed after being attacked inside the inner fencing of the enclosure, according to a statement from the Forestry Commission, although neither confirmation nor denial of that assertion has been made.
