Hiplife star, Pope Skinny has revealed it will be a dream come true if Zylofon Media signs him unto its label as one of the artists the media company manages.
Pope Skinny besides being a hiplife artist and the host of “Kasahari” on Adm FM is also a personal friend of self-acclaimed Dancehall King, Shatta Wale. He is also a staunch member of the Shatta Movement family.

On 31st January 2018, Shatta Wale was signed unto Zylfon Media ina juicy 3-year contract. Pope Skinny seeing his boss signed unto the fastest growing media company in Africa might have resurrected his long-dead dream of being singed unto a big record label.
Speaking to Pamela Boateng of Spyderlee Entertainment TV at the signing of Shatta Wale at the Zylofon Office in East Legon, the Akuapem rapper revealed he would love to be signed too. Answering a question on how he feels about the Shatta Wale signing and Zylofon in General, Pope Skinny said:

“We’re all hoping to get endorsements like these. It’s my dream to be signed on to a big label like this…I’m so open. I mean if it comes I’ll just laugh and thank my God and just embrace it.”
“He (Nana Appiah Mensah) is a good person; I’ve had the chance of meeting and interacting with him. So who knows? I mean the money is good, the business is good, the environment is good; who wouldn’t wish for this?’ the Asuoden music CEO stated.
Pamela took the opportunity to ask the artist what will happen to the Shatta Movement now that their boss has been signed unto Zylofon. The “Hot Cake” hitmaker said:
‘It’s a big platform for Shatta Movement. This is what we’ve all been waiting for. This is the first time someone is pumping this much money into the arts industry.”
“Our kind of work needs more money to go places so if we have a big platform like this which is ready to invest in what we do, I mean this is the best thing we could all wish for.”
“Members of Shatta Movement are so happy. Before the signing, we were doing big exploits with our own money, strength and other resources,’ Pope Skinny added.
