These are the statutory public holidays to be observed in Ghana 2022.
Some of these holidays are necessitated by cultural, religious and historical reasons.
Meanwhile, some of these holidays are also commemorative days. It means, the day will be observed but it will not be declared as a holiday.
An example of a commemorative holiday is the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Day on July 1.
These holidays would need to be sanctioned by the Interior Minister before they are observed. When a holiday falls on a weekend, it would be observed on the next working day.

- 1 May – Sunday – Labour Day
