Shatta Wale reveals why he kept silent about his collabo with Beyonce

The man of the moment, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr popularly known as Shatta Wale has explained why he was silent about his collaboration with American music icon, Beyonce.

According to the ‘My Level’ hitmaker, his management advised him to be mute about it until the official announcement.

Shatta Wale explained that he wasn’t sure if his song was going to be accepted for the album.

He also added that he also wanted to show Ghanaians that he can keep secrets and wanted it to be a surprise.

“This move happened in June this year. I wanted to tell my fans but Bulldog and my management said NO, I should keep quiet till the Official Announcement is out, and as well, I want to show Ghanaians that I can also keep secrets”, Shatta Wale revealed.

American music icon Beyonce Giselle Knowles-Carter recently revealed her upcoming album dubbed “The Lion King: The Gift” which featured several African artistes.

Shatta Wale and Guiltybeatz were the only Ghanaians that were featured on the album as there were several Nigerians on it; Tiwa Savage, Burna Boy, Yemi Alade, Wizkid and Mr Eazi.
