Father of Ghanaian rapper and musician from tema, Kwesi Arthur has revealed in an interview that his strict training has saved his son from being a truant.
According to Kwesi Arthur’s father, he believes in the adage ‘Spare the rod and spoil the child’ and always disciplined his children anytime they go wayward.

He added that he always used the leather belt in disciplining his children instead of the cane because he felt that was effective.
“What I normally use is the leather belt, I don’t use a cane in my house and when the leather belt goes into your body for about two or three times you’ll sit up and I think, thank God that put some fear in them.
As you can see Kwesi is a refined young guy. Isn’t it? And it conforms with the good book, spare the rod. No matter how much you love your ward, the discipline aspect, you need not to joke with it.
I did not like it when they used up their leisure time at game centres. I was not against them playing games but they falling prey to gambling. When I catch them (Kwesi and his brothers) at the game centres, they know what I do”, he disclosed.

Mr Danso also added that children from wealthy homes mostly go wayward because they lack proper home training.
He recently disclosed in an interview that he is not happy about Kwesi Arthur’s hairstyle because it is against his Pentecostal religion.
However, the ‘Grind Day’ hitmaker in reacting to his father’s disapproval stated that he will cut off his hair at the right time when he feels like.
