The funeral of the late Ebony Reigns came off yesterday at the Forecourt of the State House. It brought together many well-wishers, veteran musicians and various celebrities across Ghana and beyond.
Though there were sadness, wailing and gnashing of teeth, mourners were thrilled with performances that brought a little bit of joy over their sadness.
Veteran musicians Nana Acheampong and Dada KD were among the personalities who took to the forecourt of the State House to mourn the late dancehall songstress, Priscilla Opoku Kwarteng aka Ebony Reigns.
The musician was introduced unto the stage by ace broadcaster and MC KKD — With the backing of the band, Nana Acheampong and Dada KD performed his best songs to console mourners who were heartbroken by the death of Ebony.
Though some family and friends of the late singer were completely shuttered at the funeral grounds, the veteran musicians managed to lift up their spirits through their songs.
