Shatta Wale, in a renewed Twitter rant, has sort to explain why he felt Nigerian artists are not superior to their Ghanaian counterparts.
In a series of tweets, the SM President reiterated the earlier statement he made at the Freedom Wave concert over the weekend at the Accra Sports Stadium by stating that there was nothing special about Nigerian acts.
According to him, he would never need Nigerian artists to help him in his music career or to help him pull the crowd.
Shatta Wale has insisted that Ghanaian artists are doing well and in some instances are steps ahead of Nigerian counterparts.
Additionally, he stated that should Ghanaian DJ’s focus on playing local artists songs and shun the popularization of Nigerian music in Ghana, Ghanaian artists would rise to the high echelons of musical glory.

One way music and melody …u deh take disturb man for Ghana … I can’t boldly tell you naija ppl … your artiste all sound the same One way style … I have nothing to loose Baba
Nobody is hating nobody here but the way you naija ppl like compare ur artiste to us is absurd. Sorry for those naija rats saying they haven’t heard my music before -Yes it’s because I am too ok with the love from Ghana where I was born than a strangers land to intimidate me.. #F
Ask some of your artiste ,they come here and flop … I have many shows I can make reference to ..some even get arrested here and some to deh chop slaps and you want to talk about stardom to me ..Nooooooooo sir !!!! Let your artiste tell you the truth !!!!
