17yrs boy marries his 16yrs girlfriend in a traditional wedding ceremony

A 17-year-old boy from Nigeria has just married his sweetheart, a 16-year-old pretty girl. The young got married in a traditional way by the customs of Nnewi tribe of Nigeria

The groom, Somto who is the last son of his parents hails from the Nwachukwu family in Okofia Village in Otolo Nnewi, Nigeria.

According to local reports, Somto returned from school last month and informed his parents he can’t go to school again because he wants to marry.

After months of pestering his parents, they gave in allowed them to marry in a traditional ceremony.

The parents even before that with the assistance of Somto’s elder brother who works in a Hospital within Anambra State opened a retail shop for the couple to take care of their family.
