Earlier yesterday, Ghanaian actress and brand influencer born Rosemond Alade Brown but professionally known as Akuapem Poloo – Took over social media trends after ditching her Christian faith for Islam.
The controversial female celebrity broke the news of her newly found faith to her fans and Ghanaians at large on her IG page by sharing a couple of pictures of herself at the mosque.

In the now-trending pictures, Akuapem Poloo was seen clad in full Muslim regalia while holding an ablution can and a prayer mat.
The caption she attached to the photos reads;
“Alhamdulillah full Muslim now, thanks to the Deputy National Chief Imam’s Quran Reciter and his board for assisting in this,”
After the news of Akuapem Poloo’s conversion to Islam went rife on the internet – Some critics blasted her for chasing clout.
According to these people, Akuapem Poloo will be back to factory settings after getting the attention she needs therefore she shouldn’t be taken seriously.
Akuapem Poloo who’s obviously pained and worried about the harsh criticism has reacted to all the backlashes from her critics.
She wrote on her IG page;
“Sometimes you just have to overlook somethings and focus on your life yeah let them think what they want you just do what you want just make sure what you do pleases ALLAH”
