Ghanaian striker Asamoah Gyan has revealed that he is still hunted by the penalty he failed to score during the 2010 World cup held in South Africa.
The Black Stars skipper missed a penalty against Uruguay in South Africa, a kick which could have seen Ghana advance to the Semifinals stage of the 2010 FIFA World cup in South Africa when they were playing against Uruguay.

The Kayserispor forward in an interview with Countryman Songo on Adom TV’s, ‘Fire for Fire‘ said if he could change anything, then it would have to be the penalty he missed against Uruguay in the World Cup.
“If I had the power to change one thing about my carrier, I will undo my penalty miss against Uruguay in South Africa because I am still haunted by that incident and I always feel bad about it,”
He further added that he considers his spells with premier league side Sunderland and the United Arab Emirates after that World Cup as the most interesting parts of his carrier.
