DKB apologies to Sarkodie and mum over his comments

Ghanaian comedian Derrick Kobina Bonney popularly known as DKB has apologized and expressed surprise at reports that suggest he insulted Sarkodie’s mother at the launch of Shatta Wale’s “REIGN” album last weekend.

Hours after Shatta Wale’s successfully album launch, Saturday, October 13, 2018, news went viral that DKB who was the MC passed a comment which many said was an insult to rapper Sarkodie’s mum.

After news of his insult went viral, the comedian recorded a video and stated that he wasn’t worried about the news and further apologized to Sarkodie, his mum, and his fans.

“If you guys were offended by these stories, I duly apologize. It’s nothing of that sort. The statement I made is a vague compliment. It has nothing to do with insults. When will I insult Sarkodie when everybody knows I’m a major fan of Sarkodie supporting him on every stage…”
