Ghana is a village – Tourism minister defends Shatta Wale

The Minister of Tourism Hon. Catherine Abelema Afeku has defended the comment from Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale where he stated that Ghana is a village during his recent interview with BBC after his “Reign” concert UK edition.

After this comment, many people took to social media to bash him for passing such a comment about Ghana but as you would have it he defended his comment and threatened to even say more if Ghanaians dared him.

Well, the minister of Tourism was this morning in the studios of Accra-based Hitz Fm where she took time out to address some issues including the Shatta’s comment which is considered as derogatory.

According to the minister, Shatta Wale’s statement was interrupted stating that all Shatta Wale trying to do was to advice the people living in the diaspora to reciprocate what they do there when they come down to Ghana.
