The broadcast journalist with The Multimedia Group Limited, Kwadwo Asare Baffuor Acheampong has died.
KABA as he was popularly known, died in the early hours of Saturday, November 18, 2017, at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.

KABA until his sudden death, was the host of popular late afternoon political talk show, Ekosii Sen on Asempa 94.7 FM.
He was married to Valentina Ofori Afriyie who is also a broadcaster with Accra-based Class FM, having worked many years with Radio Gold and Spirit Fm in Kumasi.
KABA attended his secondary education at the Techiman Senior High School in the Brong Ahafo Region where he completed in 1999.

In the year 2000, he furthered his education at the Ghana Institute of Journalism where he read Broadcast Journalism – Print and Broadcast and completed in the year 2004.He then further enrolled in a Diploma in Basic education, education, and Child Psychology course at the University of Cape Coast and completed in 2007.
Kwadwo Asare Baffuor Acheampong was a news editor at Top Radio Company Limited, where he worked from January 2004 to February 2008 at Kokomlemle, Accra.
In August 2009, he officially joined The Multimedia Group as a broadcast journalist. He was then the regular host of news bulletin ‘Asempa Today’ on Asempa FM.
KABA was formerly the host of ‘Badwam’, a current affairs show on Adom TV. He sat in for regular hosts on many programmes, including ‘Dwaso Nsem’ on Adom 106.3 FM.
He also hosted weekly current affairs programme ‘Kukurantumi’ on Saturday morning.

He rose through the ranks to become of the country’s most-sought-after political and current affairs talk host. He was recently awarded as the Best Talk Show Host in the 2017 edition of the Radio and Television Personality (RTP) Awards.
KABA was born in 1980- Thus he was 37 years before his death.He was the only son of his parent.He was survived by his wife and daughter.(Here are their photos)
