‘Stop using Papano issue as an excuse to punish me’ – Mzbel sends a cryptic message to Mahama

Somewhere in 2020, Ghana witnessed one of the most viral sagas’ “Papano”. It took the nation by storm as the whole of Ghana were interested in every drop of info that popped up.

This mantra developed a heated rift between actress Tracey Boakye and singer Mzbel. The two personalities went dirty on each other in their respective quest to ‘Show Body’.

The saga indeed had a dent on NDC’s John Mahama, who was then fingered to be the ‘Papano’ these two ladies were fighting over as it in a way contributed to his loss in the 2020 general elections.

When we all thought we wouldn’t hear that name again, Mzbel (one of the parties involved in the fight over the ‘Papano”) has once again brought up the matter.

In a smart but rambling tweet, Belinda Nana Ekua Amoah, popularly known as Mzbel has asked “Mr President” to stop punishing her over the saga.

According to her, “Mr President” owes her and has decided to turn deaf ears to her on her demands of over 6 years.

The seemingly disturbed controversial socialite and the singer asked “Mr President” to be a man of his words and act on his promise and pay the debt.

Though she didn’t mention the name of the person whom she referred to as “Mr President” in his tweet, some people have voiced that Mzbel is directing her message to Mahama giving reasons that his (Mahama) name was most mentioned amid the saga in 2020.

She wrote “Mr. President, I’ve been humble, considerate, quite and patient enough, so stop using this “Papanpo” issue as an excuse to punish me! When I have to chase people for what they owe me it gets ugly! Be a man of your word…. its been almost 6years already!”
