Pappy Kojo Boycott The VGMA And Here’s His Reason

Hiplife artiste PappyKojo says he has boycotted the VGMA’s and will not submit any of his works for nomination anymore.

The Fante rapper speaking to Berla Mundi on GhOne Tv said, his style of music isn’t understood by Ghanaians so as the board of Ghana’s most popular music award scheme.

“I feel my style of music isn’t understood not by Ghanaians but the board of VGMA.”

When asked if, he will be part of the subsequent scheme or either submit his works for a nomination, he answered in the negative.

“I wouldn’t be part of the award scheme anymore and since you have to submit your works for review that will be easier, I would not submit my works anymore.”

The rapper who is affectionately called the Fante Vandam in a tweet earlier this year gave a hint to this boycott.
