Revealed: What Legendary Musician Jewel Ackah Told Leaders Of NDC Before His Death

Legendary musician Jewel Ackah was reported dead at his home at about 7 pm on Friday, according to information we got.

The musician had been battling stroke and other illnesses for over 10 years.

In a series of interviews granted by the musician, he thanked God for keeping him alive and making his condition improving.

“I have been battling with stroke, leg pain and I mean so many things. I just give thanks to the Almighty God for even bringing me this far. At first, I couldn’t walk nor speak. For now, I am able to walk a little but not all that good as compared to the first,” he said.

Jewel Ackah is noted for several hit songs, including the anthem of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

He was a supporter of the National Democratic Congress once told the party that if they have any help to offer him, they should do so now while he is still alive. He narrated the hardship he has had to suffer and how he was rejected by the current crop of leaders in the National Democratic Congress (NDC) on Accra-based Peace FM somewhere in 2017.

“I want to remind them that they shouldn’t let me die before they come and make Jewel Ackah….Jewel Ackah”.

He made this comment while Addressing an NDC group who donated GHC2, 000 to cut down the cost of his medication, Ackah thanked the group for their kind gesture.

He aged 73.
