Actress and TV personality Xandy Kamel has opened up publicly about why she has not been seen on the screens in recent times.
It was alleged that Kamel, host of a celebrity gossip show dubbed ‘Yenom Tea’ and her husband, a Sports Journalist and Head of Sports at Angel TV have been fired by their employer Dr Kwaku Oteng, CEO of the Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN).
This was after problems in their marriage started making headlines when Xandy Kamel took to social media to call out her hubby for having an affair with his ex-girlfriend.
She, however, brushed off the reports when she was contacted by GHPage for comments.

She subsequently flew to Dubai for a vacation to let things cool off. Following her return, Xandy has disclosed her mission in UAE and why she’s not been on TV for about a month now.
“I’m still working with ABN, I’m still the host of Yenom tea, I’m still with Angel TV, she said in an Instagram video. “That is what you need to understand. I have not been sacked or suspended.”
“I asked for sick permission to heal myself and that is what I have been granted. And by God’s grace I’m getting better. Ignore the fake stories.“

Earlier, in an exclusive phone-in interview with GHPage, Xandy said the reports about her sack were not true.
According to Xandy, she indicated that she was on leave and will soon come back on screen to carry out her duties as the host for ‘Yenom Tea’.
She explained her leave coincidentally met her marital problems and that she is not on leave because of that.
The actress further in her submission during the phone-in convo averred that Dr Kwaku Oteng has no hand in her leave, rubbishing the claims that the CEO has fired her.
