Actress Rosemond Brown Replies Critics Who Say She Can’t Speak Good English

Kumawood actress Rosemond Brown who has been in the news since 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards night over some revelation she made about herself.

The actress who has come under serious criticisms by some Ghanaians that she can’t speak the Queen’s language fluently after an interview she had.

In an interview she had with Ghanaweb.com, the light-skinned actress said she feels comfortable speaking Twi but that doesn’t mean she has any deficiency as far speaking of English is concerned.

She said:

I can speak very good English but I feel comfortable speaking Twi.

I’m a Ghanaian, I’m an Akan, I speak Twi. I was raised up with Akuapem Twi… I was taught the English in school, it is not my mother tongue language.

Why should I force myself with a foreign language? The whites speak their language not ours, so why do I have to focus on that?

I can speak very good English, I can try me and you will see.
