Ghanaian Rapper, Awal Mohammed has in an interview on the Afro joint show on Kingdom 101.9 Fm with host Fiifi Pratt addressed issues concerning his fall out with budding singer and songwriter Fameye.

The young rapper went full blast on the show uncovering the secrets behind the friction between himself and Fameye after the latter featured on his song dubbed Akuapem Poloo.
According to Awal, the soulful singer disrespected him by not showing up for the video shoot of the song.
In an industry where artistes are known to rub each other’s backs, Awal explained that he leveraged on his cordial relationship with Fameye back then to get a feature from him for some chicken change.
The rapper revealed that it was Fameye who reached out for the feature. He added that the singer upon negotiation agreed to feature on the song and in the video for just 500 Ghana cedis even though his management requested 2000 cedis initially.
A hurt Awal expressed that Fameye did not show up for the video shoot while ignoring his attempt to reach him.
Also, the young rapper who rose to fame from the 2010 edition of the Talented Kids Show, said that it is wrong for an artiste to disrespect another just because they are more relevant in a moment.

Furthermore, he disclosed that Fameye compared him to other artistes like Medikal and Article Wan and pointed to the fact that they all pay at least 2000 cedis for a feature and so he was not going to settle for less.
In response, Awal considered that disrespectful because to him, he is bigger than both Medikal and Article Wan though they they are in the spotlight today.
