Article Wan, in an interview with Abeiku Santana, has fired a strong warning to Patapaa after the latter claimed he had revived Article Wan’s derailing career.

Patapaa in an interview with Abeiku Santana on Okay Fm, a few weeks back, mentioned that he should be credited with reviving Article Wan’s music career with their collaboration on the hit song ”That Thing”.
According to Patapaa, Article Wan after his breakthrough debut hit single ”Solo” had struggled to come up with another banger until their collaboration.
Likewise, Patapaa made a similar claim about Nigerian megastar Mr. Eazi saying their song Akwabaa which also featured Pappy Kojo, is what propelled the Nigerian to international recognition.
Article Wan, who was clearly upset by Patapaa’s comments responded by saying that he was more popular than Patapaa and on the contrary, he helped Patapaa prove his lyrical prowess and versatility on their song.
In an interview with Abeiku on June 11, 2020, Article Wan has directed a strong message at Patapaa. He warned the Swedru based artiste to desist from defaming other artistes in interviews just for cheap publicity.
Article Wan asked Patapaa to keep his name out of his mouth and to put some respect on his name because he was recognised in the music industry even before Patapaa came into the scene.

He regarded Patapaa’s claim to have gotten him a spot at the 2018 Ghana Meets Naija event as complete deception considering he made his first appearance at the mega show in 2016 with the likes of Davido, Falz, Tiwa Savage, Lil Win all in the cut.
