Media personality Belinda Nana Ekua Amoah popularly known as Mzbel in her recent post on social media has admitted bleaching her skin and suffering horrible side effects years later.

According to her, she was forced to believe that she was ugly and being black is dirty hence bleaching until she suffered horrible side effects thereof.
But now her eyes of understanding have been opened that there’s a need for her to embrace her true unique complexion given to her by God.
“I used to think I was ugly. I thought being black is dirty, so I took to skin bleaching and suffered horrible side effects years later. But that is the result of self-hate.
I shared my story and got help, now I’ve learned to say: ‘You know what? I am a beautiful black woman. FanteKrobo, 100% Ghanaian“, Mzbel wrote.
