One of the major campaign promises of the ruling New Patriotic Party is the Frees Senior High School Program (Free SHS) which aims to educate the students at the senior high school for free.
The Program is to be rolled out all over the nation’s Senior High Schools next academic year which starts in September 2017.
It’s been confirmed Ghanaian Hollywood child actor, Abraham Atta who shot to fame when he played the role of ” Agu” in the Hollywood movie “Beast of no nation”,the movie which starred actors like Idris Elba has been chosen by the Ministry of Education to be the Ambassador for the Free SHS program.
The young actor has already distinguished himself by winning the ‘Marcello Mastroianni Award’ for Best Male Lead Young Actor in the hit movie ‘Beast of No Nation’.

He has also been recently recognized for his excellent academic performance at his new school, Cheshire Academy, United States of America.
Abraham Atta will today, 22nd June 2017, pay a courtesy call on the Minister of Education, Matthew Opoku Prempeh at the Ministry of Education Conference Room for a short ceremony to announce his ambassadorial appointment for the Free SHS program.
