Epixode finally speaks after his altercation with the Police

Ghanaian dancehall musician Theophilus Nii Arday Otoo popularly known as Epixode has finally spoken after he was arrested by the police.

In an interview, Epixode explained that he had a minor misunderstanding with the police which led to his arrest.

According to Epixode, they were stopped by the police because he was driving in an unregistered car but tempers rose and resulted in a misunderstanding.

“We were stopped by the police around 11-12 am on our way back from a meeting in Tema. I don’t really know Tema so most of the time we end up using the map. My manager was the one driving.

They gave us signals for some time but we couldn’t stop on time…we were trying to make it to a studio around East Legon. They started questioning my manager, asked for the necessary documents of which we provided.

They were back and forth for some time while I was sitting in the car. We were not over speeding but we were using a DV number plate. I went out of the car when I heard the police shouting at my manager.

Tempers were high at that time but there was no physical attack. I got pissed because we provided everything that they asked but they still refused to let us go”, Epixode explained.
