The final burial and funeral rites for Ghana’s former Vice President, Paa Kwesi Bekoe Amissah Arthur started today Thursday, July 26, 2018.
The two-day state funeral is being held at the Accra International Conference Centre for the 67-year-old who collapsed and died while working out at a gym at the Air Force Base in Accra on the morning of June 29, 2018.
The casket containing the mortal remains of the former Veep arrived at the grounds in a hearse at about 6.30 am.

The body is currently lying in state at the foyer of the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) for mourners pay their last respects from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.
A memorial thanksgiving service will be held at the Calvary Methodist Church at Adabraka in Accra later on Sunday, July 29, 2018.
He was the Vice President from the year 2012 through to 2016. R.I.P Gentle Soul.
