Ghana Actors Entertainment Awards has taken the initiative to honor veteran actors Grace Nortey, Mr. Kojo Dadson, Grace Omaboe a.k.a Maame Dokono, Charles Ampofo, Mr. Emery Brown, and Emmanuel Armah.
According to photos sighted on Abenaghanaofficial’s Instagram account, as part of the awards, the organizers paid visits to some aged actors and actresses where they presented them with citations of honor and other prizes.
The efforts of these veteran actors pioneered Ghana’s Movie industry and the industry has developed into the likes of Nollywood and Bollywood.
Therefore, they were acknowledged and rewarded by the organizers of the Ghana Actors Entertainment Awards.
They worked and sacrificed so much for most Ghanaian actors to be where they are today and most of them loved creative arts more than they loved and cared for their lives.
The actors and actresses most of whom are old and suffering from one terminal illness or the other were grateful to the organizers for remembering them.
It is very thoughtful of GAE Awards organizers to not have waited for them to pass before they were honored.
