Ghana is faced with a major health crisis that jeopardizes the lives of millions of its citizens.

The country of 29 million people only has less than 100 functioning ambulances serving all regions.

While the situation is not new, it has reached a level that requires urgent action, and not just the attention of health authorities.

Ghana currently has 155 ambulances, 100 of which have broken down due to various faults, many of them engine-related.

The remaining are stationed in various parts of the country to offer emergency health responses and basic life support.

Due to this Adom Fm’s Captain Smart begun a campaign in aid of buying ambulances for the country. He traveled outside the shores of Ghana to solicit for funds from Ghanaians with the aim of getting ambulances for the country.

But two years down the line, nothing has been heard about the money or the ambulances and this has made one lady who supported the movement to question the anti-corruption crusader.

According to the lady, she wants to find out from Captain Smart how far he has gone in purchasing the ambulance since they the people that contributed have not heard anything from him.

Watch the video below:

She further asked that the first man of the land Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo must step in and help in either retrieving the money from Captain Smart or make him use the money for it’s intended purpose.
