Since the introduction of the Hiplife genre in Ghana, the music industry have seen daring members who have their played their game perfectly in it and have been the darling boys and girls in their time until they retired.

We can make mention of Lord Kenya, Reggie Rockson, Obrafuor, Abrewa Nana and others whose time have ha passed but they re still highly respected for their contributions to growing the Hiplife genre in Ghana.

There are equally some Ghanaian rappers who entered the music scene, became the favorite for every Ghana music lover. They ruled the industry for a while and for unknown reason fell from Grace to Grace.

C-Zar was one Ghanaian rapper who did not retire from the game. He faded out because he took his position for granted. Although he was regarded as a wack rapper he served Ghanaians with songs such as ‘Araba Lawson’, ‘Mercy Lokko’.

C-Zar slept on the job and faded out. He has been trying to get back into the game for years now but to no avail.

PRAYE

One of the vibrant music groups Ghan has ever seen is Praye, it was made up of 3 dynamic members who called themselves Praye Tintin, Praye Honeho, and Praye Tietia. Praye swept so many awards in 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 including a KORA award for being the best group in West Africa.

But from nowhere, the Praye group broke up and that wa the end of them. They all tried to do solo singles but failed miserably. Now, Parye Tietia and Praye Tintin have teamed up but still, they are all struggling to get a single hit song.
